As some of you may know, John has enjoyed a long and happy association with the Steam Traction Engine world and produced a number of drawings and paintings featuring them.
His artwork has regularly appeared on the cover of Steam Rally event programmes and been used for posters and promotional material.
John’s back catalogue of Steam Traction Engine artwork is now available to view and to purchase, click on the image above to visit the gallery and store.
He doesn’t just draw and paint them, here’s John at the wheel of ‘Katie’…

Back in 1995, John produced this pencil drawing to celebrate the Subaru World Rally Team’s 1st (Colin McRae) / 2nd (Carlos Sainz) / 3rd (Richard Burns) at the 1995 Network Q RAC Rally.
The drawing was released as a strictly limited edition of 250 prints, each one hand signed and numbered by the artist.
Of those 250, only a few remain and they’re available here: https://hancoxart.com/product/subaru-wrc-limited-edition-print/
Back in 1995, John drew a set of Classic Grand Prix / Formula One cars and they’ve been lost in the archives – until now!
