John O’Groats To Lands End Moped Run!

Our friend Norman Hyde joins John O’Groats to Lands End moped run!

Warwick-based former drag racer Norman Hyde will be making one of the slowest rides of his career this March in aid of Help for Heroes. Norman, who made a career out of racing and producing performance parts for Triumph motorcycles, will be joining members of the Triumph Trident Owners Club who are entering the John O’ Groats to Lands End run on a 50cc moped.

Built by the Norton-Villers-Triumph group in in the 1970’s, the Easy Rider model has a top speed of around 30mph, so the journey will take six days to complete, finishing at Lands End on 1st April.
