John donated his original drawing to a fund raising event organised by Tom’s sponsor, Jim Finlay in support of the Tom Herron Appeal Fund.

Part of the event was a question and answer session with a panel of big-name riders including Barry Sheene, Kork Ballington, Mike Hailwood, Mick Grant and Tom’s good friend, Kenny Roberts – who purchased the drawing in the auction that followed!
