I was born in Leicestershire in 1943 and have been drawing and painting for fun and professionally for over 50 years.
My first visit to the Isle of Man was for the 1961 TT races and I’ve been hooked on the island and road racing ever since!
I’m a self-confessed motorcycle fanatic, a regular road rider and have competed in motorcycle sprints & hill climbs on a range of ‘home built’ machines including a Norton ‘Model 18’, Ariel ‘Red Hunter’ and Yamaha RD400!
Rugby football is another lifelong passion, being a loyal fan of Leicester Tigers Rugby Football Club. I’m also a keen tennis player, badminton player and enthusiastic cyclist, regularly competing in road races, time trials and occasionally riding the cycle ‘leg’ of team triathlons!
I’ve worked as a freelance technical illustrator for a variety of companies including Prodrive in Banbury where I was the illustrator for the Subaru World Rally Team.
Over a number of years it’s been my pleasure to have produced and donated many drawings and paintings to be sold at auction in aid of various charities including: The Joey Dunlop Foundation, Manx Grand Prix Helicopter Fund, Tom Herron Appeal Fund, The Mike Hailwood Foundation, Hogg Motorsport Association & The Rob Vine Fund.
Some of my most recent work includes producing artwork for the official Guy Martin 2015 calendar!
I hope you enjoy looking around my website and like what you see!
All the best,
